Since Zach White came to work for me in the treasurer’s office, he has proven himself to be a dependable, competent deputy and an asset to my office.

Zach is efficient and honest, always professional and respectful to the customers.  he is a quick learner and his work is accurate. His degree in forensic accounting will only add to his abilities.

I have come to know Zach White from the time he was hired on staff in the Treasurer's Office, as a Deputy Treasurer.

“An excellent choice”

Zach already has the necessary training, expertise and skill set required to work in the county environment and in that office. He is always very professional, friendly, and helpful as he interacts with each person he comes in contact with.

He is a great asset to Morgan County, and is very capable to be the next County Treasurer, which is why I give him my full endorsement.

Sheriff / High School Teacher

We had the privilege of getting to know Zach on a more personal level when he asked our permission to take our daughter’s hand in marriage.

While conducting our personal “Breshears Background Check” to ensure he was a qualified candidate to marry our daughter, McKinlee, we quickly discovered Zach’s positive attributes that set him apart from other candidates.

“He is a valuable asset and key player to the future of Morgan County”

Aside from Zach’s kindness and humble heart, we were impressed with his honesty, integrity, and strong work ethic. He is the first to lend a hand and the last to point a finger.

Zach quickly discovered the uniqueness of our community and recognized the privilege and obligation associated with becoming a resident of our great community.  He didn’t waste time as he quickly planted his roots firmly into Morgan County soil and began serving the residents through his employment with Morgan County as Deputy Treasurer.

We watched Zach start his family with humble beginnings and work his way to the top.  We marveled at his ability to juggle his full-time employment with Morgan County all while attending college full time, after hours, to pursue a degree in accounting.

Zach’s long hours of dedicated study, personal sacrifice, and first-hand experience through his employment, coupled with his strong work ethic and extrinsic motivation to be his best self, left no surprise when he was recognized by the dean of his college as the top academic student overall, top accounting student, as well as the all-time top score for specific accounting courses.

It has been rewarding to witness a young man’s hard work, dedication, and determination to succeed come to fruition. Zach will graduate with honors this year with a bachelor’s degree in forensic accounting.

It is an honor for us to recommend Zach to the position of Morgan County Treasurer.

He is a valuable asset and key player to the future of Morgan County; he brings with him a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and innovation—designed to improve processes —creating an efficient, smooth, and painless process for all of the residents in Morgan County.

Mission President

I became acquainted with Zach during the time he devoted two years to doing voluntary service in England.

I entrusted Zach with the responsibility of training hundreds of missionaries how to be financially responsible.

“I consider him to be worthy of any one’s hire”

Zach was able to take the monthly allotted amount of money given to each missionary and stretch that out over months at a time. Zach was in charge of teaching every missionary how to stretch out their money and make it last. As I mentioned above, Zach is very honest and loyal.

At the end of Zach’s time here in England he had a significant amount of money remaining that he had stretched out over months at a time, most missionaries I would have imagined would have kept that money and used it for their own personal gain.

Zach had a companion that had only the clothes on his back and that was it. Zach purchased his companion clothing and daily necessities, and then turned in the remaining money to me to give to other missionaries who were serving with only the bare minimum.

I do not have the slightest hesitation in recommending him for any position of responsibility. I consider him to be worthy of any one’s hire or trust.

I trust the above detail is sufficient for your needs, but should you need any further information or specific opinion on Zach, please feel free to contact me.

McKinlee Breshears White

Wife of Zach

This amazing, caring, hard-working husband of mine has decided to run for Morgan County Treasurer. At first, I thought it was a joke but soon realized he truly would be the best person for the job.

“He truly would be the best person for the job”

After the last election with my dad, Sheriff Blaine Breshears, my dad promised me there wouldn’t be any more elections... but here we are, not even a full term later. I think these men are trying to test me to my limits!

I am truly grateful for Zach and all the hard work and dedication he puts into his schooling and his job. He truly loves it and the community he works for. I have no doubt that he is the best fit for the position.
