Qualifications
I believe I am uniquely qualified for the position of Morgan County Treasurer. As Deputy Treasurer,
I perform all the tasks the Treasurer does.
Qualified
I oversee all the money coming in and going out of the County, assisting in budgets, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. I process payroll, distributing the money from the general fund accounts into the proper accounts.
I maintain the accounts with the city and state offices, processing garbage payments, ensuring all bills are paid on time. Maintaining a good relationship with other county offices is a high priority. I also handle Morgan County's bank accounts, making sure we are earning as much money on our investments as possible.

I participate in many Treasurer meetings and email groups, and I am in frequent contact with the state representatives for Morgan County as well as the Lieutenant Governor's office for help with any questions or concerns.
In addition to my education and my work as Deputy Treasurer, I have previous work experience at banks and other companies. I am proud to say that, at the end of each workday, I always have balanced funds exactly to the penny.
