As County Treasurer, I will continue the exceptional work Bonnie B. Thomson has done for Morgan County as your Treasurer.
My Promise to you...
I will continue to offer excellent service and to develop personal relationships with each of my customers and strive to help them to the best of my abilities.
I will continue my push to get more up-to-date technology in the County Treasurer's office. For example, I am looking into a simple online bill paying option that will allow residents to pay their bills more conveniently and will help in the processing of payments and bills.
Updated technology also will help ensure the safety of our funds. I have made two different proposals to the Council regarding updating our office. Bonnie B. Thomson is fully supportive of moving forward with my proposals for updated technology.
My focus has been and always will be on making sure your money gets where it belongs and that I balance the books at the end of the day.
I am dedicated to my job, and I will work hard to maintain your trust. For example, I often have headed back into the office after closing to help someone. I have come into work on multiple weekends to get people keys or information they have needed. I always make sure the job gets done and that the job gets done correctly before I move on to something else.
